HEALTH WATCH!
ANTI-HEART-ATTACK TEA
Here's a gentle way to sidestep a heart attack: Have a cup of tea every day! At least one cup of
ordinary black tea daily, such as English Breakfast, Assam, Whittard's Original, slashed
heart-attack risk by 44% (compared to non-tea drinkers) in a recent study of 680 men and women.
( Coffee had no such effect.)
The likely explanation? "Black tea contains high levels of flavonoids - antioxidant compounds also
found in wine, fruits and vegetables that are known to make blood cells less prone to clotting."
